THE MOST EXPERIENCED LIVING TAMIL FILM DIRECTOR TURNS 86 TODAY

AC Tirulokchandar, one of the most experienced living legendary Tamil filmmakers, turns 86 today, 11th of June. His first directorial was Veerathirumagan which was released 54 years ago in 1962.

He later went on to direct many more popular films before finally calling it a day in the year 1987 with Anbulla Appa featuring veteran actor Sivaji Ganesan. Engirundho Vandhaal, Dr. Siva, Enga Mama are some of his famous works.
