Asuran is an upcoming Tamil film directed by Vetrimaaran and produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu under V Creations.This is the fourth film of the Dhanush and Vetrimaaran duo. This is even more special because of the fact that this is the third film of G.V.Prakash, Dhanush and Vetrimaaran combo who are uniting after Aadukalam.
G.V.Prakash has been very excited in working on this project and has been giving great updates about the music developments in the film. He has now given out another major update about a song from the film.
G.V.Prakash joyously shared a picture on Twitter in which he has stated that he has finished recording a peppy number for the film with young singers Ken Karunas and TeeJay. Yugabarathi has written the lyrics for the song.
Dhanush is the lead singer for this song ‘Polladha Boomi’. The last time Dhanush sang for G.V.Prakash in a movie that he was the lead for is in the film Mayakkam Enna in which he sang 2 songs: Kadhal en Kadhal, Voda Voda and this time he has sung for G.V.Prakash music in his film after 8 years.

Manju Warrier is playing the female lead in the film and director Balaji Sakthivel is also making his acting debut in the film. With Vadachennai getting positive reviews from critics and fans, Asuran is much awaited.
