DHANUSH ANNOUNCES A MAJOR UPDATE ON HIS NEXT: FEATURING 'THALAPATHI' REFERENCE!

The two will be joining hands for Karnan, a rural drama that also has Rajisha Vijayan, Yogi Babu, Lal, Lakshmi Priyaa Chandramouli in important roles. Produced by Kalaippuli S. Thanu of V Creations, the team has extensively shot the film in locations across Tirunelveli.

Dhanush recently posted an update regarding the current status of the project. He tweeted that the second leg and 90 percent of shoot has been completed. The actor had also posted a still from the film in which he was clad in a T-Shirt that had the title design of the 1990 Rajinikanth film Thalapathi.

Karnan has cinematography by Theni Ishwar while Santhosh Narayanan composes music for the film. Apart from that, Dhanush will also be featuring in Jagame Thanthiram, Atrangi Re, and the yet-to-be titled D43 and D44, currently in various stages of filming.
