Directed by Mari Selvaraj, the film featured Dhanush and Rajisha Vijayan in the lead roles while Lal, Natty, Gauri G Kishan amongst others will be seen in prominent roles. For the unversed, Karnan is the Mari Selvaraj’s second directorial after Pariyerum Perumal.
Now, post its theatrical release and the shutdown of theatres due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the latest buzz is that the film is gearing up for its OTT release. Accordingly, the film is set for its premier on May 9th in the popular OTT platform, Amazon Prime.
Now, it is heard that the Telugu remake is all set to happen soon and Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas will be seen reprising Dhanush’s role in the Telugu remake of Karnan. However, an official announcement for the same is awaited!
