The Dirty Picture actress Vidya Balan is busy promoting her next film 'Begum Jaan' which is releasing on April 14. The film is a remake of Bengali 'Rajkahini' and is directed by the National Award winning director Srijit Mukherji.

Last week the makers released the dialogue trailer of Begum Jaan which once again proved the acting caliber of Vidya Balan. Her boldness, dialogue delivery and the storyline are said to be the big positives of the film.

Vidya Balan is currently busy promoting the film and in one such event, she shared an experience from the shooting spot. It seems, Vidya Balan had to slap her co-star for a scene in the film. She revealed she was emotionally sad in doing so but had no choice other than slapping her co-star Shabnam. She also added that every time she slapped her co-star she felt sad and the minute Srijit would say 'cut', she would hug Shabnam, kiss and make her feel as her younger sister.
