Actress Deepika Padukone, who was last seen in the 2018 period film ‘Padmaavat’ is currently gearing up for her next, titled ‘Chhapaak’. The star actress has recently got a wax statue at the famous Madame Tussauds museum in London.
Madame Tussauds, a very famous wax museum in London has got the presence of statues of various celebrities. Deepika’s statue is the latest addition of Indian stars’ statues, to the list. Her hubby, Ranveer Singh, took to Instagram to share a picture of the same.
He posted the pictures, and captioned it saying “DP 2.0! Original toh...mere paas hai! ;) #twomuchtohandle”. Replying to this post of his, Deepika replied saying “Now you know where to go when you miss me too much”. Deepika also said “I have stood in Queue to buy tickets, but now my statue is inside the same museum. It is a proud moment indeed," in a statement.
Deepika’s parents Prakash Padukone and Ujjala Padukone, along with Ranveer’s parents Jugjeet Singh Bhavnani and Anju Bhavnani were present on the occasion, cheering for Deepika from the sidelines.
