Contestants including Aarav, Snehan, Riythvika, Aari Arujunan, Ramya Pandian, Kavin, Vijayalakshmi, Somshekhar and Vanitha Vijaykumar went on to hit the spotlight and win hearts among audiences. They also signed several films, many of which are in different stages of production.

A few contestants who came from other countries to particiapate in the show also garnered massive audience support. Mugen Rao, Losliya and Tharshan, who participated in season three of the show, went on to become popular and fan favourites. Tharshan, a model and an actor recently took to social media to share his fitness journey with fans.

Like all of us, Tharshan - who has always been fit and flexes his muscles and abs - gained weight during the lockdown. He then worked hard to shed the quarantine weight. He shared before and after pictures of his abs and said that he lost eight kilos in just four weeks. He also thanked his trainer who helped him shed the extra kilos.

The current season of Bigg Boss Tamil is expected to start sometime in October. Although the names of the contestants are doing rounds on social media, nothing is confirmed yetand it will only be official on the launch date of the show. Kamal Haasan is set to host the current season for the fifth time in a row.
