She was popular for the role of Badi Beeji in the daily soap Ek Hazaron Mein Mein Meri Behna Hai. Her co-stars mourned her loss. Nia Sharma, who played the role of Maanvi on the show, informed about the demise of the actress by sharing a fan-page post.
Nia wrote that that the actress will be missed. Ek Hazaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, launched in 2011 on Star Plus, enjoyed great success for over two years. Joshi played the role of the great grandmother of Jeevika and Manvi, played by Krystle and Nia respectively. Joshi was also seen in other soaps like Sarabhai vs Sarabhai and Bandini.
