CCV'S 1ST DAY BOX OFFICE REPORT

We are here to present to you the first-day Chennai city gross figure of Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, which released yesterday, the 28th of September. According to Behindwoods Box Office Wing, CCV has grossed an estimated ₹84 lakhs in Chennai City Box Office alone from its opening day.

Chekka Chivantha Vaanam is one of the biggest openings that a Mani Ratnam film has got in the recent times. Thanks to the pre-release hype and star-studded cast.

In fact, with some good review and positive word of mouth from the public, the film is likely to perform better in the coming days. Coming Tuesday, October 2nd is a Government Holiday on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi. Hope the film keeps up this momentum till then.
