One of the strongest contenders emerging in the show is the Malaysia-based actor and singer Mugen Rao, known for his close friendship with Abhirami Venkatachalam, a fellow contestant. In a special interview to Behindwoods, Thurga Sathiavel, the relative of Mugen Rao, spoke about Mugen's temperment and future plans in the professional and personal front.

Thurga admits that Mugen is short-tempered in nature "Mugen is just showing ten percent of his anger in the show, and he calms down afterwards. He expresses his anger by breaking things, and he reduced the behaviour upon my advice. But recently, when he broke the table during her fight with Meera, it felt like his behaviour resurfaced."

Thurga mentioned that Mugen is more career-oriented and is focused on achieving his dreams "Mugen wants to acheive his dream first and that dream has become mine too. I advised him to focus on his goals first and we will talk about our marriage in the future." she said.
