‘BAASHA’ DIRECTOR SURESH KRISSNA PRODUCED NEW WEB SERIES 'IN THE NAME OF GOD' HITS OTT; FANS THRILLED! – DEETS

His list of hit films include 'Sathya', 'Baasha' amidst several others. Suresh Krissna, who has directed about 40 films so far, has also directed series on leading television channels like Sun TV and Vijay TV. He directed the 'Mahabharata' serial on Sun TV.

Suresh Krissna is getting into the web series space with 'In the Name of God', to be streamed in Telugu, which he has produced. Vidyasaagar Muthukumar is the writer and director of this series starring Priyadarshi, Nandini and others. Varun is the cinematographer and Nikhil Sreekumar is in charge of editing. Music is composed by Deepak Alexander.

Calling, web series a new visual format, director Suresh Krissna said that he was attracted to the same two years ago. The director feels web series have a bright future. Web series have the freedom and visual potential that cinema and TV series do not have, he opines.

‘In the Name of God' has been filmed in cities like Chennai, Hyderabad, Rajahmundry. The film is being shot with a large cast and crew, informs Suresh and added that it was Telugu star Allu Arjun who inspired him when he was left wondering if he could get involved even if he was interested. He is the one who gave me courage and hope, says the director, thanking the star.

The story is about how an innocent man who does not go to any trouble is dragged down the path of violence by social pressure. The teaser quickly surpassed one million views. 'In the Name of God' web series is available on 'Aha Original'.
