Teddy directed by Shakti Soundar Rajan and starring Arya and Sayyeshaa in the lead released in Disney+Hotstar on March 12. The film will be available in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. This is the first time Arya and Shakti are coming together for a project. In the past, Shakti has directed films such as Miruthan and Tik Tik Tik.

Sathish and Sakshi Agarwal were seen in supporting roles. Director Magizh Thirumeni made his acting debut in Teddy as the antagonist. Teddy was bankrolled by KE Gnanavel Raja under the banner of Studio Green. D Imman scored the tunes for the film.

Now, the director of the film has shared a pic of the actor who donned the TEDDY body suit - his tweet reads thus - "Here's the man behind the scenes! Mr. Gokul, the theatre artist who wore the body suit and acted out the full body language of #Teddy. The head is a fully 3D generated model with performance capture technology by @NxgenMedia"
