AR RAHMAN'S MAIDEN VENTURE GETS A ROUSING RECEPTION

The first look poster of AR Rahman’s maiden production venture 99 Songs was released a couple of days back. Apart from producing it, AR Rahman penned the story and he will also be taking care of the musical score.

The first look poster has met with good response with top celebrities like Aamir Khan sharing some nice words about the same via Twitter.

Owing to the massive response AR Rahman has shared a small note through his official social forum which reads “Dear friends, media and fans from all over the world, thank you for the fantabulous response to the poster of 99 Songs. Oh, yes.. The poster represents the surreal nature of the movie... Our production team is charged up by the love and support. The movie is in Hindi for now, as the script is set in North India. YM Movies is also developing scripts in Tamil over the next 5 years and they will go on the floor when they are ready.”

The 2 time Oscar winner also met Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber recently in Udaipur and the duo apparently discussed about a potential future evolution for Bombay Dreams. Apart from these AR Rahman has projects like 24, Mani Ratnam’s next, Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada, Enthiran 2.0, Pele and also a couple of Hindi projects in his kitty.

March 12th is an even more special day to Isai Puyal and his wife Saira as it marks their 21st wedding anniversary.
