Music maestro AR Rahman's concert is happening currently, during which the musical genius himself just spoke a few words about Thalapathy Vijay and Mersal.
Their combo hit Mersal was awarded the no.1 album of 2017, having the most number of streams across all social media platforms put together. Sony Music presented the gift to Rahman, who then thanked Vijay for the humongous reach of Mersal's album, which brought his songs to millions of ears across the globe.

Bigg Boss fame Harish Kalyan, who is an ardent Vijay fan, shot to fame through the reality show watched by a lot of audiences. During his recent visit to Malaysia, he has had a fan asking him to give a pencil sketch that she had done of actor Vijay, to Thalapathy himself. Posting about the moment, Harish said:
“This gal who is our #Thalapathy ‘s fan met me in Malaysia and gave me a pencil sketch of #Thalapathy #Mersal getup and my pic! She asked me “ Anna, vijay na kitta kuduthudunga.. ungalayum romba pudikum” priceless moment. #ThalapathyVijay”. He had also posted a picture of the moment along with this post.
