SUPER-HOT UPDATE FROM SUPERSTAR RAJINIKANTH’S DARBAR!

Darbar has all the blockbuster elements such as Anirudh Ravichander as the music director for the film, Santhosh Sivan as the cinematographer for Rajinikanth after Thalapathi (1991), and the cuts of the movie will be handled by Sreekar Prasad. This film is bankrolled by Subaskaran under the banner Lyca Productions.

The majority of the shoot has been shot in Mumbai and the team were said to be in Jaipur for a song shoot. Now, we have an interesting update on the film. Sources close to us have revealed that the overseas theatrical rights have been acquired by Phars Film, one of the leading distribution companies in the Middle East, for a whopping amount of 35 crores.

Meanwhile, Rajini will be seen donning the cop uniform for the first time after 25+ years, and was last seen in a police role in Pandiyan (1992). Darbar is expected to hit the screens in 2020 during the Pongal.
