UPDATE ON 'ANNAATTHE': AFTER CHENNAI SCHEDULE, CREW HEADS TO THIS UNEXPECTED LOCATION! - CHECK OUT
Home > Tamil Movies > Tamil Cinema NewsRajinikanth would next be seen in 'Annaatthe' directed by Siva and also starring Khushbu, Meena, Keerthy Suresh, Soori, Sathish, Nayanthara and Prakash Raj in key roles. The film is being produced by Sun Pictures and is a D Imman musical.
Filming for the movie was interrupted by the coronavirus threat. When filming started in Hyderabad in December last year, there was a coronavirus outbreak on the sets. Moreover, Rajinikanth also fell ill. After that, his health improved and he returned to Chennai.
The crew then shot in Chennai. Now, the next schedule is planned in Calcutta and would go on for 30 days. The crew has already started. Stunt portions are expected to be shot while Superstar would join the crew soon.
Sun Pictures had announced that Annaatthe would be a Diwali release. Kamal Haasan and Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Vikram is also likely to target the same date. Watch this space for more.
