AN INTENSE SHORT FILM BASED ON NEET ANITHA

It has been more than a year since the death of medical aspirant Anitha, a girl who fought against NEET examination in Tamil Nadu. A short film based on that is all set to be released tomorrow (January 5), exclusively on Behindwoods TV YouTube channel.
 

Titled as (A)NEETHI, it is a short film directed by a Viscom student Sriram Kanchana Thangaraj. The film will be based on the life of Anitha, a girl from an oppressed section who gave up her life due to her failure in the NEET exam.

The film has made its way into many International Film Festivals, winning honourable awards. (A)NEETHI features Gabrella of Kalakka Povadhu Yaaru fame as Anitha and veteran actor 'Raja Rani' Pandian as her father, while Pradeep K Vijayan, Mogli and Master S Y Devasaran play important roles.

On the technical front, this short film has cinematography by Viswa and Hari Prakash, with music scored by K C Balasarangan and editing by Prakash Karunanithi. Get ready to catch this intense short film from tomorrow.
