Taking to her Instagram account, Amala Paul wrote, "LOSING A PARENT is a feeling that cannot be described, it's a MAJOR DOWNFALL and you begin to TRANSCEND into the UNKNOWN DARKNESS and experience varied emotions. Losing my PAPPA to CANCER OPENED a whole new DIMENSION IN MY LIFE. It made me realize so many things."
Paul opined that people, especially women, tend to ignore taking care of themselves when they are busy looking after their children and husbands. The actress also confessed to have almost lost herself and her mother to depression, and thanked her brother for supporting her and continuing to do so.
Amala Paul's upcoming projects in the pipeline include Cadaver, Adho Andha Paravai Pola. She has signed her Hindi web debut, a love story set in the backdrop of 70's Bollywood.
