Bollywood’s Khiladi Kumar, Akshay Kumar was last seen on screen in Anurag Singh’s Kesari as Havildar Ishar Singh and the movie was well-received by the audiences. He will be next seen essaying the role of Rakesh Dhawan in Jagan Shakti (former Assistant director of ace filmmaker, AR Murugadoss)'s much-awaited film, Mission Mangal!
Mission Mangal is an upcoming Hindi film that is based on the incredible, true story of a scientist, Rakesh Dhawan and Tara Shinde played by Vidya Balan who lead a motley team of scientists. The film also features Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha, Sharman Joshi, Kirti Kulhari, Nithya Menen amongst others in pivotal roles.
The team overcome their personal challenges and failures to serve as the brains behind one of the greatest missions in history: the launch of India’s first satellite to Mars, a stunning achievement that restored the nation’s confidence.
The makers have released the much-awaited teaser of the film. In the teaser, one can see Akshay saying, “This is Rakesh Dhawan.
