POPULAR TV STAR MAKES HER DEBUT WITH AKSHAY KUMAR, FIND DETAILS

Akshay Kumar began shooting for his next film 'Gold'. The movie is set in the backdrop of 1948, and it is a periodic sports-drama of India's first Olympic medal post independence. Akshay Kumar who is constantly experimenting in choosing different story lines has picked this sports-drama this time, and it has thrilled his fans.

Earlier today, there were few pics from the film's shooting spot which were shared in social media. In the pic, Akshay Kumar and TV star Mouni Roy shared screen space. Akshay Kumar is holding a paper script in the photo and is addressing a group of people, and  Mouni Roy is standing beside Akshay Kumar. Mouni Roy is making her Bollywood debut in this film and Akshay Kumar being her very first hero should have been a dream come true for her.

'Gold' is written and directed by  Reema Kagti and the film is expected to go on floor in another few months after which the makers have planned quality time for its post-production. The film is expected to release early 2019.
