Home > Tamil Movies > Tamil Cinema NewsIt is well known that former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh is all set for this debut Tamil film titled 'Friendship', which has Bigg Boss fame Losliya playing the female lead. Although there were speculations and rumours about an OTT release, the makers have clarified that the movie will release in theatres as planned.
The film directed by John Paul Raj and Sham Suriya who earlier helmed 'Chennaiyil Oru Naal 2' also has Action King Arjun in an important role and comedian Sathish playing Harbhajan's friend. The makers revealed a poster today (August 23) and informed fans that the entertainer has been censored U/A by the censor board and is all set for a grand release on September this year. The date, however, hasn't been announced yet.
The film is jointly produced by Seantoaa Films, in association with Cinemass Studio. Meanwhile, Losliya is awaiting the release of her upcoming film 'Google Kuttappa' with fellow Bigg Boss Tamil contestant Tharshan and Director KS Ravikumar. Sabari and Saravanan will be directing the movie which is a remake of the popular Malayalam movie 'Android Kunjappan Version 5.25'. The first look poster of the same was released recently.
