Actor Vijay is currently working on his third film with Atlee, after Theri and Mersal. This film, tentatively called Thalapathy 63, went on floors in January, and the team had been shooting a few important scenes in and around Chennai.
Apart from Vijay, the movie has Nayanthara as the female lead, while Kathir, Yogi Babu, Daniel Balaji and others play important supporting roles. AR Rahman is the music composer while cinematographer GK Vishnu unites with Atlee again after Mersal.
Sources close to us have informed that Malayali actress Reba Monica John of Jarugandi fame will be playing a crucial role in the film. In addition to this, sources inform she is one of the players of the women football team and is currently undergoing training for the shoot.
Thalapathy 63 is produced by AGS Entertainment, and will be releasing on Diwali day. This makes it a hat-trick of Diwali releases for Thalapathy Vijay. Stay tuned for more updates.
