In an exclusive interview with Behindwoods, Isha opened about her Kollywood career and about Nepotism in Bollywood. She also recollected about working with Vijay and Arvind Swamy during her early days in acting.

She said “It was a great experience, working with such big stars. Both Vijay and Arvind Swamy were very shy actors, back then. But it was an amazing time for me to act with such big actors in my early days.”

Isha, who’s making a comeback to K’town after over 19 years with Sivakarthikeyan’s ‘Ayalaan’ told “My role in Sivakarthikeyan’s movie is very different. I am not the cute and charming heroine from the early 2000’s. This will be a negative shade and I really enjoyed working in this movie.”

Speaking about the trending topic of Nepotism in Bollywood, Isha said “Yes, I have been through a lot of all those. I have also lost a few projects because of Nepotism. But on the down side, Star Kids also face a lot of pressure. They are also talented, yeah.”

Speaking about her spirituality, Isha said “I think I am starting to learn the meaning of life. I understand that we all are very complex, but life is actually very simple. We always make kids happy and we forget that everyone loves it when they’re loved.”

“I also used to have this ego and I have even asked my friend, how did this actress, without knowing to act or without knowing Hindi become a superstar? What she said really meant something. She said, ‘Isha, God has given this person this status. Don’t be jealous or don’t be envious of someone else’s success. This is a frequency that you exhibit and this what will come back to you’. I truly believe in those words.”
