Director Vijay Sri made his directorial debut through Dha Dha 87, which starred Charu Haasan, Saroja (grandmother of National Award-winning actress Keerthy Suresh). The writer-director is gearing up for his next film.
Titled 'Pollaadha Ulagil Bayangara Game', the film stars former Bigg Boss contestants Julie and Aishwarya Dutta in crucial roles while 'Motta' Rajendran plays comic relief. Now, the film's cast has another interesting addition to the team.
Actor and nephew of Tamil superstar 'Chiyaan' Vikram, Arjuman, will be making his mark as an actor with this film. Arjuman is the son of Vikram's younger sister Anitha. 'Polladha Ulagil Bayangara Game' (PUBG) is touted to be a comedy-thriller.
Director Vijay Sri stated that he was introduced to Arjun through noted PRO Nikil, who works in the film industry. The director had also said that upon meeting Arjuman, he came to know that he is a formally trained in dance, martial arts and is passionate about acting. Hence Vijay Sri felt that Arjuman will be suitable to play the lead role.
The team has completed the first schedule and the second schedule will commence the Semptember Vinayagar Chathurthi weekend. The filming takes place in Trichy and Goa, and involves actors Yogi Babu, Aishwarya Dutta and Arjuman.
'Pollaadha Ulagil Bayangara Game' is produced by GDR productions. On the technical side, the film is shot by Balaji Baskaran while music is composed by Dheepan Chakravarthy and Nikil Murugan handles the public relations.
