THALAPATHY 66: STAR COMEDIAN CONFIRMS TEAMING UP WITH VIJAY IN HIS NEXT!

Thalapathy 66 is to be directed by Vamshi Paidipally. Produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations, the film stars Rashmika Mandanna opposite Vijay. According to credible sources, the film is a family drama and Vijay will not be playing a double role in the film.

A few days ago the pooja of this film was held at a private studio in Chennai. Director Vamshi, producer Dil Raju, Rashmika Mandanna and actor Vijay were present. Actor Sarath Kumar also attended the pooja. This is his first time co-starring with Vijay in this film.

Praveen KL is the editor of this film. He is also the editor of Vijay's Bairavaa. He has also worked as an editor on some of Vamshi's films. The story and screenplay are co-written by Hari and Ashish Solomon for the film in association with Vamshi Paidipally. Karthik Palani is about to do cinematography who had worked in Penguin and Adipurush.

The film is currently being shot in Hyderabad. Actor Yogi Babu has joined the shooting today (04.05.2022). This has been officially announced by the actor himself. Yogi Babu is all set to star with Vijay after Sarkar, Bigil and Beast. Actor Shaam has already officially announced on Instagram that he will be playing a major role in the film.

The 8th Behindwoods Gold Medals Awards will be held this year on May 15 and 22 at the Island Ground in Chennai Island from 6pm to 11.30pm. Ticket booking for this is currently underway.
