Vijay Sethupathi, who has been acting as a Junior Artist since 1996, has acted in Love Birds, Gokulathil Seethai, Pudhupettai, M. Kumaran S/O Mahalakshmi, has now risen to become on of the most important actors of the Indian film industry.

With Kadaisi Vivasayi being his latest film, it is interesting to note that Makkal Selvan has quite a number of films lined up, awaiting announcement, awaiting release and in production.

Up next, Vijay Sethupathi is next awaiting the release of Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, Maamanithan, Yaadhum Oore Yaavarum Kelir. His malayalam movie 19(1)(a) is in production, whereas his Bollywood movie Mumbaikar, Merry Christmas, are in similar stages too.

In this situation, Vijay Sethupathi has given an exclusive interview to our BEHINDWOODS channel ahead of the release of the romantic biggie Kaathuvakula Rendu Kaadhal. In it, he said that he has agreed to act in this film only for Vignesh Shivan. He also talked about his experience working with actresses Samantha, Tamannaah and Nayanthara. 

Also, Vijay Sethupathi answered the question about the method of selecting films and directors. In it, he says that he works the same way for a successful film and a failed film, starting his cinema career with a salary of 250 rupees and is currently earning a salary in crores.
