According to multiple media reports, the state police had received bomb threats for actor Vijay's residence in Saligramam, on July 4 midnight. Consequently, after the bomb threat call, forces were rushed to the actor's house and search was conducted.

Actor Vijay gets bomb threat, Police identify criminal behind hoax

The police officials, after searching the house thoroughly, concluded the call to be a hoax. After investigation, the officials have narrowed down that the alleged bomb threat has been made by a youngster hailing from Marakkanam.

Vijay is currently involved with Lokesh Kanagaraj's Master, bankrolled by Xavier Britto under the banner of XB Film Creators. Music is by Anirudh Ravichander, and Vijay Sethupathi is onboard the project and has taken up the role of antagonist in this movie.
