Under this new law, couples belonging to opposite faiths need to get an approval from the district magistrate two months prior to registering their marriage. The new law purportedly is against love jihad but has however come under a lot of criticism.

He further wrote: How dare they let a major age girl decide who she wants to marry and how? Under their rules, nobody should have the freedom to do anything...eat anything, say anything, sing anything, write anything, study anything, marry anyway... They will clearly tell us how to do what. (sic)

Its not for caste or community. The law is for all FAITHS. It to prevent Gruesome photos of Beheaded women and children accompanied by a Headline reading NOT LOVE JIHAD Laws are better than Thoughts and Prayers in such situations Educate please don't mis-inform.
