Actress Amala Paul will be next seen playing the role of Kamini in director Rathna Kumar's second directorial Aadai. The film's trailer was released by acclaimed director Anurag Kashyap in his official Twitter account.
A press meet was conducted ahead of the film's audio and trailer release in which, many celebrities, along with the film's cast and crew spoke about the movie. Actor Parthiban was in his witty self and said that filmmakers always have to face a crisis when it comes to finding funds for their next films, and this is what drives directors like him and Rathna Kumar to make films like Oththa Seruppu and Aadai.
The actor-director wished the film luck. Yesteryear actor and producer Arun Pandian spoke about how he became part of the project only during the later stages. He said "I viewed the film, I thought only I saw it, but the whole world has seen it. We cannot enter into a new director's story, because younger generation has a lot of experience." Arun Pandian also said that the film has excellent content that is necessary for today's youth.
Aadai is slated to hit the screens on July 19. The film's songs is composed by Pradeep Kumar and the band Oorka. Watch the full speech below:
