Nadigar Sangam elections is going to be held on June 23rd and the two parties who are contesting are 'Pandavar' team headed by Nasser who are currently in charge and the newly formed 'Swami Sankaradas' which is led by director K. Bhagyaraj. All shooting activities are put on hold on the 23rd for maximum participation of voters.
The Nadigar Sangam elections have been creating a lot of buzz among the media with both the teams announcing their candidate list, tagging big names of Rajinikanth and Kamal Hassan for their team's support and press meets.
In a latest incident Karunas had open up to the press about the upcoming elections in which he accuse team 'Swami Sankaradas' Bhagyaraj and Ishari Ganesh of that team for saying that money can be used as a factor to convince people to vote for them. He says it is not the right way to think about artists.
He also tells that the 'Pandavar' team was formed only to stop people who were using the public resources of the association to their personal uses and they have did that successfully. He asks the voters to consider who will be better and vote, and not to vote for the temporary materialistic values like money.
