TRAILER: AAMIR-KAREENA COMBO TEAMS UP AFTER ALMOST A DECADE, WORKS MAGIC IN LAAL SINGH CHADDHA!

Laal Singh Chaddha:

Widely regarded as a perfectionist, Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan will be playing the lead in 'Secret Superstar' director Advait Chandan's upcoming directorial 'Laal Singh Chaddha'. Adapted from the 1994 Hollywood classic 'Forrest Gump', Aamir Khan will be reprising the role played by Tom Hanks in the original.

Produced by Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao under the banner Aamir Khan Productions in association with Viacom 18 Studios, Laal Singh Chaddha also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mona Singh, Naga Chaitanya, and Negar Khan in crucial roles.

About the movie:

Laal Singh Chaddha features the life of "a simple man whose extraordinary journey will fill you with love, warmth, happiness and will also make you laugh", according to the words of the makers. The movie is set to release in cinemas worldwide on 11th August.

The trailer begins with the story of how a young Laal Singh Chaddha is shunned and ridiculed because of his physical and mental shortcomings as it may seem, but the boy grows to achieve things every normal human can - how his life becomes eventful and why is expected to be the journey of this movie which will feature Kareena Kapoor and Aamir Khan together onscreen after almost a decade; they teamed up for the movie Talaash in 2012.
