Thalapathy Vijay was last seen on screen in his recent venture, Bigil that was directed by Atlee and featured Nayanthara as the female lead. The sports-drama also featured Jackie Shroff, Vivekh, Daniel Balaji, Yogi Babu and others in prominent roles and did well at the box-office.
The actor is currently engaged in the shooting works of his upcoming biggie which has been tentatively titled as Thalapathy 64. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj of Kaithi fame, the film features Malavika Mohanan as the female lead.
It was earlier reported that Thalapathy will be in Delhi during the first to third week of November for the shoot. The film also features Vijay Sethupathi as the antagonist, Angamaly Diaries fame - Antony Varghese, Shanthnu Bhagyaraj and Andrea Jeremiah in important roles.
Meanwhile, it is now learnt that the young actress, Gouri Kishan who had won millions of hearts playing the younger version of Trisha in ‘96’ will be seen in this film as a college student. Stay tuned for more updates!
