If there wasn’t any nationwide lockdown due to the rapidly increasing Coronavirus' pandemic, some biggies would have already hit the screens while several others would have been gearing up for its big grand release.

With Soorarai Pottru already announcing its OTT release, we have news on two other biggies, which have zeroed in on their release dates. Makers of projects Sooryavanshi and 83, Reliance entertainment have announced when and how the movies will be released.

2 Biggies lock Diwali and Christmas 2020 as their theatre release dates

In a tweet on their official Twitter handle, Reliance Entertainment wrote, "We are very confident that the ongoing theatrical exhibition situation will improve much in time for the release of our awaited films, Sooryavanshi and 83, this Diwali and Christmas, respectively."

'Sooryavanshi' is the fourth cop film directed by Rohit Shetty. Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif are playing the lead in the film. Whereas 83, on the other hand, features Ranveer Singh in the lead role with Deepika Padukone alongside. Actor Jiiva also plays a crucial role in this movie. 83 is directed by Kabir Khan.
