Jilla returns ... this summer

Vijay's 2014 Pongal release Jilla collected a good gross at the box office and was a successful venture for the actor, who was rebounding after Thalaivaa the previous year. R.T.Neason directed this masala entertainer which also featured the legendary Mohanlal and the lithe Kajal Aggarwal.

 

Talks to remake the movie in Telugu were on since long, but now it looks like Jilla would be dubbed and released in Telugu sometime this summer. The dubbing works are happening and this version would be much shorter and crisper at around 2 hours and 20 minutes. The Telugu version would feature some extra scenes featuring the sensational Brahmanandham, which were already shot by the director.
