Ajith Kumar and his successful first collaborations!!!

Now that it is more than just official that Anirudh will be the music composer of Ajith's upcoming 56^th project with Siruthai Siva, we thought we will try to recap some of Ajith's first time successful collaborations with music directors.

Deva undoubtedly has churned out the most number of hit songs for Ajith Kumar. Be it Gaana or soulful melodies, Deva has always given his best for Ajith Kumar. But it all started with the blockbuster hit romantic thriller Aasai. Aasai’s songs were an instant rage with numbers like ‘Konja Naal’, ‘Meenamma’ and ‘Pulveli’ songs, which are played in the Televisions and radio airwaves on regular basis even till date.

Uyirodu Uyiraga brought Ajith and Vidyasagar together for the very first time. The album comprised of two classic songs ‘Poovukkellam Siragu’ and ‘Anbae Anbae’.

Next on the list is music director Bharathwaj. His first collaboration with Ajith happened way back in 1998 through Kadhal Mannan. People still consider ‘Unnai Paartha’ song from Kadhal Mannan as Ajith’s best song till date.

Yuvan Shankar Raja has given some massy tunes for Ajith Kumar right from Dheena. The movie which gave Ajith his prefix Thala, also gave Yuvan, his much need break as a composer.

Veeram was majorly known for Thala’s scintillating screen presence and also the theri ‘Ratha Gaja’ background music by Devi Sri Prasad.

Harris Jayaraj has been among the top music director for more than 10 years but his chance to compose for an Ajith film only materialized through Yennai Arindhaal which was released this year. The album was recently given a blockbuster verdict by Behindwoods.
