MADHAVAN STORMS INTO THE 100 CRORES CLUB

Ever since its release, Tanu Weds Manu Returns directed by Anand L Rai, has been creating an unmatched frenzy at the ticket counters all over the world. The film has now officially netted more than 100 crores in India, becoming the first 2015 Hindi film to do so. It is the biggest hit out of Bollywood this year and a Blockbuster.

 

Without any big male superstar in the cast, TWMR has done the unthinkable with Kangana Ranaut in dual roles and Madhavan in a trademark restrained avatar. The film is particularly wowing the core Hindi audiences while it is also doing well in the South due to the presence of Maddy.

 

The 2nd weekend has netted more than 28 crores and the total Indian net stands at close to 104 crores. The film looks to be having enough legs to collect some more crores before wrapping up its run. The 125 crores net mark is definitely in its sights.
