KB's long time associate is no more..

Tollywood's legendary screenwriter, Ganesh Patro passed away today (5th January). It is reported that he died due to cancer. He has closely worked with late K Balachander for a couple of movies.

Ganesh Patro started his career with Athavarillu in 1976. Over 28 years in the film industry, his dialogues have contributed a major portion to the success of the films that he had worked.

He wrote dialogues for some of the best films of KB like 'Marocharitra', 'Idhi Katha Kadu' and 'Rudraveena'. His last film was 'Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu', starring Mahesh Babu and Venkatesh in lead roles.
