A sequel to KO is here ...

After Yaamirukka Bayamey and Yaan that released in 2014, RS Infotainment is all set for its next venture. The movie is titled KO-2 and will have the likes of Bobby Simha, Nikki Galrani (Darling fame) and Prakash Raj in central characters.

The film is directed by debutant Sarath. An interesting title and an interesting cast, it would be interesting to know what the film is all about.

It should be noted that the Jiiva starrer KO was produced by RS Infotainment. Is KO-2 a sequel of KO or does it have a new meaning altogether? Elred Kumar of RS Infotainment explains ...

"The sequel of 'KO ' has been in my mind always. Bringing the same talents together in the same fold was very challenging. I happened to listen to a script narration by Sharath, formerly associated with Vishnuvardhan and Chakri of Billa 2. The script and the pattern of narration inspired me a lot. Why not this as the sequel I asked myself, and by the time he concluded the narration I made up my mind.

Sequels need not necessarily be with the same cast and crew, the fulcrum is always the script and here I have identified the right script as the sequel for 'KO' my biggest hit. Bobby Simha the latest sensation plays the lead, Nikki Galrani play his pair while Prakash Raj sir plays what he is familiar with - a powerpacked role.
