DIRECTOR BALA'S NEXT GRABBED BY A BIGGIE

We had reported last week that Kaththi fame Lyca Productions would be involved in the release of a lot of prominent Tamil films before they take up the production of Shankar - Rajini's Enthiran 2. They have already signed on to distribute Visaaranai and Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, as we know earlier.

 

Now we hear that they would also be releasing director Bala's Thaara Thappattai in Tamil Nadu. The film features Sasikumar and Varalaxmi in the lead roles and is nearing the finish line of its shoots. Director Bala has wrapped up the movie in 130 days.

 

Maestro Ilayaraja scores the music for this flick which would portray the native art forms of Tamil Nadu.
