As reported earlier, Dhanush is one person who was actively part of the immediate relief during Chennai floods. The ones who followed his work through Twitter will agree if we say that Dhanush went out of his way to lend support.

 

Reliable sources reveal what all this 'Thangamagan' has done.

 

- 5 Lakh donated towards the CM Relief fund.

- 1 crore worth relief materials supplied which includes a truckload of blankets.

- Medical camps organised in few areas that absolutely had no access to, with the help of his sister and brother in law who are doctors.

 

In spite of having the theatrical release of the much expected film Thangamagan on December 18th, Dhanush prioritised the relief movements. We also hear close sources claiming that he is not going to promote the film in a big way as the trauma in the air is yet to subside.

 

After all this, we are amazed that this man of uber talent has maintained a low profile about all that he did during these last few days for Chennaites. As he says, “Tamizhan Thokamaatan” and we are recouping quite fast. Keep up the spirit folks!
