ILAYATHALAPATHY or SUPERSTAR – Which one does Vijay prefer?

SUPERSTAR - This title is the most coveted and the most aspired for by actors in the Tamil film industry. The title adorns the one and only Rajinikanth now but there are various discussions and speculations as to which hero would qualify for this much popular title in the present generation of actors.

In a recent award function when Ilayathalapathy Vijay was posed a question as to which title he would prefer- the ILAYATHALAPATHY or the SUPERSTAR, the Nanban hero stated, “I am quite happy with Ilayathalapathy. It is the greatest reward when I am called the next superstar. However, I have come into the industry to carve a niche for myself in acting and I am not vying for titles”. He also added that there are more artists who have done greater work than him.

The ever humble Vijay is currently busy working in A R Murugadoss’s Kaththi.
