"There are no problems for Ilayathalapathy's Kaththi"

Earlier there were rumours that the Ilayathalapathy Vijay – AR Murugadoss project, Kaththi, jointly produced by Ayngaran International and Lyca Productions, will face problems due to the alleged association of the movie’s producers with the Sri Lankan government.
 

Rubbishing all such rumours, Ayngaran International’s Karunamoorthi said, “Ayngaran has been in the industry for a long time - we have distributed around 2000 movies in foreign lands. And, in regard to Kaththi, Lyca Productions is supporting us financially. That’s it. All the rumours circulating that we are working alongside the Lankan government are entirely false and baseless.”
 

Regarding the movie, he said, “Ilayathalapathy Vijay plays double role in the movie. 40% of the shoot is completed, and the movie will be out by Diwali.”
 

Samantha plays the heroine in Kaththi, and Anirudh scores the music.
