Jigarthanda on the lines of Enthiran, Thuppakki and Singam 2...

One of the most expected movies of this year, Karthik Subbaraj's Jigarthanda, starring Siddharth, Bobby Simha and Lakshmi Menon in the lead roles, runs for around 2 hours 51 minutes, according to leading ticketing portals. These are the days in which shorter movies are considered sweeter. So will Jigarthanda click?

 

For someone who made the cult movie Pizza, Karthik Subbaraj sure must know cinema better than most others. So, if he wants the movie at 2 hours 51 minutes, Jigarthanda sure must be worth it.

 

And, not always shorter movies are sweeter. Ilayathalapathy Vijay's Thuppakki and Nanban, Superstar Rajinikanth's Enthiran, and Suriya's Singam 2 also were movies that ran for close to 3 hours and more, but still struck the right chord with the audience. The makers would be hoping that Jigarthanda would also be making a similarly good impact with the masses.
