The story of Uthama Villain is out!

Kamal’s Uthama Villain is the current hot topic in town and there are quite a lot of speculations about the story. To make all airs pertaining to this clear, the makers have revealed the story of the film.

According to this, Kamal Haasan plays two characters Uthaman, an 8^th century drama actor and Manoranjan a 21^st century film superstar.

Like in real life, in Uthama Villain too, K Balachander plays the mentor to Manoranjan. Oorvashi plays the wife of Manoranjan while veteran director K Viswanath plays her father. Andrea Jeremiah is the love interest of Manoranjan.

As regards the 8^th century Uthaman, Pooja Kumar of Vishwaroopam fame plays the emotionally disturbed princess and Nasser will be Mutharasan, a domineering director. Jayaram plays Jacob Zachariah and Parvathi Menon is his adopted daughter. M S Bhaskar will play the role of Chokku Chettiar.

The technical team includes Shyam Dutt responsible for cinematography, Vijay Shankar for editing and Ghibran for music. Kamal Haasan takes charge of story and screenplay while Ramesh Arvind directs Uthama Villain which is produced by N Subash Chandra Bose with G R Venkatesh as co-producer. .
