A.R.Murugadoss is on top with his Thuppakki remake
Jun 29, 2014The Hindi remake of Thuppakki, titled Holiday and starring Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead, has emerged as the No.1 Bollywood box-office grosser in India, this year till date.
Holiday has netted more than 111 crores in India till date, and this figure is more than other 100 crore net films such as Jai Ho and 2 States. The film is in its 4th week now and has the potential to net a few more crores before it wraps up its Indian run.
Bollywood is going through a nice phase over the past few weeks, starting with Holiday and then the huge openings of films such as Humshakals last week and Ek Villain this week.
