Chennai to Singapore for Sathya

Chennai Singapore is an upcoming feature film, backed by Media Development Authority Singapore and produced by Comicbook Films India Private Limited.

The movie is expected to be a romcom set predominantly in Singapore where the protagonist from Chennai makes his way to Singapore in search of better opportunities. He ends up meeting a girl, who is also originally from Chennai but their love story is destined to begin in Singapore.

The first schedule of Chennai Singapore is being filmed in and around Chennai at the moment and the crew will be beginning the Singapore schedule in October 2014.

Sathya of Amara Kaaviyam fame and Hebah Patel of Thirumanam Enum Nikkah fame will be playing the male and female lead respectively.

The movie is being directed by debutante Abbas Akbar and the cinematography is being handled by Mukesh. Praveen KL will take care of the editing and Ghibran will take care of the music. The film is slated for release during early part of 2015.
