Popular cinematographer passes away

Popular cinematographer K Prasad, who has worked in a number of big projects, including Padayappa passed away yesterday, 20th April 2014. He was 53.

The cinematographer had been suffering with issues in liver and bone marrow and was admitted in Vellore CMC for treatment. He breathed his last at the hospital yesterday. His body is being taken to his home town, Amalapuram in Andhra Pradesh.

The technician’s last work was Kumar’s Virattu. Conveying his condolences, Kumar said, “An extraordinarily skilled DOP has left us in grief but his great work in VIRATTU will be an everlasting memory of him. May the modest human being's soul rest in peace.”
