After missing Dhanush, Alia Bhatt to finally romance a Tamil star soon ?

GNR Kumaravelan, of Haridas fame, has been waiting for over a year to begin his next flick with Vikram Prabhu. The director finds no one better suited than the Kumki actor for the role in his film.
 

In a recent interview, the director said, “All I can say at this time is that both Vikram Prabhu and I are absolutely certain that this film will take us to the next level. I waited for a year after Haridas to do this film because I was sure right from the start that there can be no one better suited to do this character than Vikram Prabhu.”
 

And, he might even get the current Bollywood sensation, Alia Bhatt cast opposite Vikram Prabhu. He said, “I have an intention to cast a heroine from the north. I have personally approached Alia Bhatt for my film and there are positive signs. However, nothing has been decided yet. We should be able to make an announcement on this issue as soon as the producers for the film are finalized.”

The highly talented Alia was earlier rumoured to be in the running for the lead role in Dhanush's Anegan but the role later went to newbie Amyra Dastur. Will Alia finally make her Tamil film debut this time around ?
