A new movie on the block - Katrunar

Senthil Kumar, who had earlier assisted Sameer Sarkar in the cinematography department, is debuting as director with ‘Katrunar’. It is to noted that Sameer Sarkar had earlier assisted Santhosh Sivan and Rajiv Menon in some international advertisements and Bollywood films. 

Senthil Kumar also plays the lead in this movie. The shoot for the movie has already started in Tiruvannamalai, and the next schedule will be commenced after Pongal in Senji.

60% of the movie is set against a Pondicherry milieu, and some portions are also planned to be shot at Mudhumalai forest region. The team is planning to release the movie by the end of this year.
