''Fulfilling Ajith fans was our primary goal''

With the release of the much anticipated Arrambam approaching, the writers of the film, Suresh and Bala, otherwise called as SuBa shared their experience of working in the mega budget project. “When director Vishnuvardhan approached us with the story, we took our time to sketch the script. Our primary aim was to fulfill the expectations of Ajith fans,” started off the duo.

They apparently met Ajith to narrate the script after working on it for three months. Like everyone else the writers were astonished by his humbleness and simplicity. “He requested us to avoid having punch lines and unnecessary heroism,” added the writers.

They recollected, “When we asked him to shed the extra pounds, he readily agreed and worked out 6 to 7 hours a day at the gym.” The duo also believe that the mutual on screen and off screen respect Ajith and Arya share, would encourage other leading actors in the industry to do more multi-starrers in times to come.
 

Meanwhile, starring Ajith, Arya, Nayanthara, Taapsee, Atul Kulkarni, Mahesh Manjrekar and many others, Vishnuvardhan’s Arrambam, produced by Sri Sathya Sai Films, will release on 31^st October.
